Entervoid is an awesome site for making comics. The way it works is you submit a character for approval, if you get in you challenge another artist and you guys duke it out through comics. Fellow members vote on who has the better comic.

If you're interested in submitting a character, simply go to the forums and post it in The Incubator for feedback prior to submitting. I'm always glad to help people push their submission as far as it will go.

If you don't want to make a character, just get involved in the community! There's been a pretty big lack of comments and votes on battles as of late and it can really be a downer to spend a month on a comic only to have no one say anything or vote on it. Help get the community get more active!

Seriously, Void's helped me significantly as an artist. When I joined my art looked like [link] and now it looks like [link] Maybe it will help you guys as much as it's helped me.
